The bicycle path along the Tega Marsh, today 17th (mon) at 15:00.

Though I did not notice, the light through the lens shows already the sign of the evening.

Although mild weather around here, the northern areas are in for an inclement weather.

833.　An image change

A nice autumn weather brought us to a sake brewery at the nearby town after a long while.




Two years ago, the previous brand "甲子正宗" was changed to
"甲子 -Kinoene-"

The photos here show its new brand image.

This unobtrucive design is my liking.

Even the brewer of 400 years history, or rather because of that very legacy, it will need the new image matched to the present days.

831. Turube otosi^#1



Left for the usual bicycle road after 3 pm.
In no time, the sunset came.

No light facility in this bike path.
It is no more summer. Must be careful.

Heard shrike's cries from the opposite direction.

There, on a tree top.

A bit far away.
Anyhow, with the max. zooming of 840 mm.

It stays still basking in the setting sun.
The next must be only go to roost.

An old saying here, Akino hi wa turube otosi
which is literally translated as
"autumn day is like dropping a water bucket into the well"
(turube   = water bucket, otosi   = to drop)
i.e.,
in autumn, it gets dark much earlier than we expect.

It is also a season word of haiku.

Makuhari shore. Noon time today.

Comfortable weather has come and is perfect for fishing from the breakwater.

The ship in the front is a coastal RORO vessel of Fujitrans Corp. (previous Fujiki Kaiun).
